SARITA EATON, MA MFT
I attended Chapman University for my undergraduate and graduate work, in 1981 I obtained a masters in Marriage Family Therapy. My clinical hours were achieved by working in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility, a community counseling center and counseling for hospice. This provided me with the experience of working with all age groups, with various religious and culture backgrounds. I passed my board exams and was licensed in 1982; which is when I went into private practice. I feel that this gives me the advantage of years of continuing education training and a very valuable professional and personal life experience.
Individual, Couples and Family Therapy
HELPING YOU ACHIEVE YOUR BEST
Family is our foundation of support. It is the place that provides love, and security. If you have children it is the environment you use to raise mentally and physically healthy children. Family therapy can identify challenges, and provide tools to treat those struggles. Each member of your family plays a role in the family structure. The communication and behavior of each individual family member can cause conflict or increase congruence. In therapy you will be helped to communicate better, set up organization and routine to increase peace within the home. With treatment of your family, you can improve troubled relationships, reduce conflict and achieve the harmonious family you have always wanted. I can help you build a resilient and strong family.
We have all experienced challenges in our life. These life experiences and difficult emotions can leave one feeling hopeless. Often one might feel out of control, confused, and frustrated. Whether it’s a mood concern, anxiety, depression, or a self-esteem challenge; individual therapy can help you identify your concerns and make the changes to bring balance and harmony into your life. When one becomes educated on personal issues and develops an awareness of other's issues we are enabled to set boundaries, reduce conflict, and successfully communicate. My goal is to help you feel better about you, which means you will find more happiness and contentment.
In my years of practicing psychotherapy I have found that we all have one very important thing in common. Relationships
Whether it is with your spouse, partner, children, friend, sister, brother, co-worker or boss; they can bring us great joy or heartbreak. My passion is to help people bring about more joy and happiness and less conflict into their relationships. It is my belief that there are certain behaviors that enhance and nurture the relationships and other behaviors that tear it apart.
I can provide you with an analysis of your behavior, and indicate what is getting in your way of having successful and healthy relationships.
It is my philosophy that relationships are the essence to life. When you have great relationships, everything else becomes much easier. A healthy relationship brings about better personal health, job performance and productivity. People in our lives are there to give us an opportunity to look at ourselves, as they can bring about the best in us and challenge us with what we need to work on.
I am dedicated to helping others achieve all of their aspirations.
My continuing education encompasses, but is not limited to the following areas:
